alsaplayer-esd software package provides alsaplayer output module for EsounD, you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install alsaplayer-esd
alsaplayer-esd is installed in your system.
Make ensure the alsaplayer-esd package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep alsaplayer-esd *
You will get with alsaplayer-esd package name, version, architecture and description in a table
